About Us
Jerry Branson started JB Ranch in 1941 because of his love for the outdoors.  His grandfather had started the first Livery Stable in Wichita and Jerry learned to appreciate animals from an early age. Jerry volunteered for every branch of the military at the end of 1941.  He was denied based on his job as a manager at one of local airplane manufacturing plants.  For the remainder of the war, Jerry supervised 120 women manufacturing parts for the P-51 Mustang. After the war, he built 5 post offices in small towns surrounding Wichita and served as a Wichita City Councilman.  He continued working on his ranch till his death in 2012.

Julie Bachman the daughter of Jerry, is honored to have been a part of the JB legacy.  Julie: We work hard to avoid chemicals.  We need to protect our health and our environment.  I want a clean outdoors for my child and grandchildren.  I hope to contribute to the family ranch through more hard work and commitment, and I really am excited to get started every single day!

George Bachman the son of Julie, grew up going to and working on the ranch.  He graduated Wichita Collegiate High School and Baylor University.  Afterwards, he commisioned in the Army and was stationed in Alaska with 725 BSB 4/25 IBCT ABN.
